Samsung America, Inc.'s Caravel team merged with Caravel Fabrics in October, 1997, and began growing at a rapid pace. It has now become a $60 million business and is still growing. We are part of a worldwide leader in the field and deal with raw materials to finished goods. We carry import and domestic lines, and do business with most of the famous junior, missy, dress and sportswear manufacturers. We also put customer satisfaction first and put every effort into offering our customers the best quality products and services.

STUDIO DESIGNERS

• Lap-Dip/Strike-Off
• Approval
  
• Study the newest trends in fashion/trend forecasting
  
• Sampling for customers
  
• Design original artwork (pattern & color) for textile prints
  
• Source the newest novelty fabrics
  
• Write up engraving as well as color
  
• Work with European art studios for artwork

SALES

• Bring headers to show customers
  
• Communicate with customers/take orders
  
• Sell fabrics

PRODUCTION

• Communicate with mills and freight forwarding companies
  
• Follow-up with customer's orders
  
• Arrange customs clearance and shipping
  
• Quality control
  
• Ensure delivery is scheduled on time
  
• Negotiate prices with overseas
  
• Handle charge-backs
