The Textile Division of Samsung America, Inc. (SAI), located in New York's Garment District (the heart of the fashion world) consists of three departments: Casual Wear, Fabrics, and Raw Materials. In the United States, these departments -- taking advantage of Samsung's global network and building on their expertise in fabrics, textile raw materials, and synthetic materials -- import overseas products and sells them in the domestic markets.

SAI has established a worldwide presence as a general trading company. SAI is active in a diverse range of industries, from textiles to high-tech equipment. SAI has built an extensive network and infrastructure in each of these industries to successfully execute new business opportunities. One of SAI's most successful endeavors has been its financial and strategic partnership with FUBU^® ("For Us By Us"), one of the world's fastest-growing apparel brands that has taken the Urban Hip-Hop sportswear market by storm. Since 1995, when SAI first invested in FUBU^® (providing the company with production and distribution capabilities), it has grown into a major international brand, generating $400 million in revenues. SAI continually reviews the competitive position of its products and portfolio companies to further enhance and broaden an existing product line or a company's position in the marketplace.

In the future, we will continuously seek joint operations with potential brands. We are also looking for well-known established brands that are willing to engage in business partnerships with our division. These joint operations and business ventures may include license contracts or sole distribution agreements.
