Scotts Valley, California in the county of Santa Cruz and employs 18 employees and distributes to more than 400 U.S. retail locations and internationally in 25 countries.

History
Sessions opened its doors in 1983 as the first dedicated snowboard-only retail outlet in the U.S. While focused on the burgeoning new Sport of snowboarding, Sessions also placed itself at the cutting edge of music and skateboard culture by building a popular mail-order vinyl music label and by becoming an active sponsor of key snowboarding and skateboarding events at major Lake Tahoe snow venues and Northern California skate parks.

Over the subsequent 20 years, Sessions has grown to be synonymous with the authentic snowboard and core sports culture. Sessions considers "core sports" to include snowboarding, free skiing, skateboarding, surfing, motocross and wakeboarding. The appeal of these sports revolves around the technique, creativity and individual achievement that participants experience while doing various tricks and maneuvers. Sessions' brand is well positioned with 12-30 year old consumers who participate in or emulate the core sports culture.

By partnering early with these industry innovators to test their appeal and functionality for the snowboarding market, Sessions was able to establish many industry “firsts”.  Products of similar high quality but at lower price categories are also available to meet the needs of the more occasional participant. High quality and competitive pricing are possible because Sessions sources through distinctive offshore manufacturers that conform to high 4.0 Accepted Quality Level (AOL) industry standards.
