In 1998, Samsung America, Inc. began developing a line of products to reflect the growing trend and demand for home healthcare monitoring - Samsung's Healthy Living® line of products.

By combining innovative technology and user-friendly designs, Samsung launched a line of blood pressure monitors that include manual, automatic, and wrist units. In the Spring of 2003, Samsung extended the Healthy Living line of products with digital and infrared ear thermometers.
