(SAI) imports and exports specialty materials and building block chemicals to serve a broad group of plastics, coatings, paper, water treatment end users , and materials used in construction . SAI ensure s its competitive edge by focusing on training both product and industry specialists in the fields of plastics, solvents, and monomers, while also trading a wide range of products in order to build its leverage in the national and international markets, which in turn benefits its customers.

SAI's Chemicals team maintains its quality of service by building business infrastructures and investing in the chemicals industry. Moreover, in owning its own warehouses SAI is able to provide prompt delivery to its customers via railcar, tank truck, and barge.

The general chemical team is responsible for marketing chemicals such as Dimethylformamide (DMF), Hydroxylpropylmethylcellulose (HPMC), Epichlorohydrin (ECH), Trimethylammoniumchloride (PTAC), Dimethylaminechloride (DMAC), as well as plastic resins like ABS, EBS, PS, PET, and other olefin derivatives. It is also responsible for marketing and trading organic chemicals.
