Samsung America, Inc. (SAI)'s export to Korea team specializes in the import and export of various hi-tech machinery & equipment hardware for specific industries. The team is comprised of two core business units: Electronics and Industrial.

The Electronics unit is involved in sales and marketing of super high-speed broadband Internet service products (modems, testers and network equipment) along with sales and distribution of high-end digital display products, such as LED, PDP and LCD monitors.

The Industrial unit is involved in the sales of products in a number of industries in which the entire Samsung Group is competitive. In the past, SAI developed strategic alliances with other Samsung affiliates like Samsung Construction, Samsung Engineering & Construction, and Samsung Heavy Industries for joint multimillion dollar international ventures related to power plant and steel mill construction projects.  The Industrial unit also provides important purchasing support to companies like Samsung Aerospace for its military and commercial contracts, and to Samsung Medical Center for their medical equipment and material needs.
